The 43rd Spain Guitar Music Competition
Application Guidelines (Preliminary, Final, and Free Division <Newly Established>)
The aim of this competition is to disperse Spanish guitar music in Japan and to discover
and promote young talents. Your participation is very much appreciated.
Date: Sunday, October 12, 2025 (Second Qualifying Round, Final Round, and Free
Competition)

J:COM Urayasu Music Hall/Concert Hall
1-6-1 Irifune, Urayasu, Chiba 279-0012
(1 minute walk from the south exit of Shin-Urayasu Station on the JR Keiyo Line and
Musashino Line)
Preliminary Round
Recorded Screening – the sound source must be submitted by 2025/05/31 (postmark valid on the day)
The Set Piece: Waltz in A major (D. Aguado)
Designated edition: From the series of “Coleccion de las obras maestras de La Guitarra
Espanola” by Japan-Spain Guitar Music Association. (Gendai Guitar Publication) Volume1,No2
To apply, you are required to submit the followings
1. application form
2. The sound source of CD-R, or an audio file attached to an email (recommended).
3. application fee for the preliminary round (bank transfer)

You will be disqualified when
1. the track is unreasonably too quiet
2. the track is distorted
3. the track is unplayable on devices
Please send the audio file in a format that can be played on a Windows or Mac computer.
※ After applying, one of the board members will contact you within 3 days for confirmation.
If you do not receive a response from us, your application may not have been received, so
please contact us.
Application fee for the preliminary round of 6,000 yen.

※ All bank charges including remittance and exchange fee must be paid by the applicants.
◎ The deadline for 1, 2 and 3 is May 31, 2025.
◎ The fee is not refundable under any
circumstances.
◎ Participants must agree to the taking and posting of photographs, videos, etc. for the
Japan-Spain Guitar Society’s public relations activities.
◎ Results of the first round will be notified in writing in late June. Those who have passed
the first round should transfer one of the following entry fees to the above account by the
end of July.
(1) The Second and The Final round entry fee: 10,000 yen
(2) Free category (newly established) entry fee: 10,000 yen
(3) If applying for both categories the fee is 20,000 yen.

6th place in the final. Winners will be exempt from registration and annual fees for the first
year of membership.)
※Winners’ requirements: Appear in the New Year Concert hosted by our association,
which will be held at J:COM Urayasu Hall on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
